2015 National Women in Technology – “The Women’s Legacy Summit” Theme: “Reimagine the Future and Elevate the Dialogue”

Hosted by Executive Alliance, the 2015 National Women in Technology, “Women’s Legacy Summit,” focused on the impact of technology leaders who are able to create a powerful vision, articulate their vision, and leverage their resources; people, processes and technology to deliver on their vision. Moving from day-to-day tactical initiatives to developing strategies that impact the bottom line is an imperative for everyone in a leadership role. In order to accomplish this, it takes creativity, innovation and a strategic mindset. It also requires the ability to lead the conversations across the enterprise. The Summit was rich in content and offered opportunities to meet some of the most successful women in technology from across the country who are reimagining the future and elevating the dialogue.

5 Monday, Insights & Interviews - Kathy Callahan and Mary GendronSummit Emcee, Kay Flowers, facilitated the interview discussion on “Insights & Interviews – Leadership Challenges of the Future” with Kathy Callahan, VP & Chief Information Officer of Prudential and Mary Gendron, formerly SVP & Chief Information Officer of Hospira. Their discussion focused on their insights into what is forcing them to rethink what success means in terms of their role and responsibilities.

6 Monday, Sandy Rapp - IT Vision 2020Sandy Rapp, VP of IT and Chief Information Officer for the Timken Company presented on “IT Vision 2020.”  Sandy shared her perspective on where and how IT operates today and explore where and how she sees organization evolving to handle this dynamic future.

7 Monday at 11am - Mary Dickerson, Kathy Fithen, and Lynn GoodendorfIn the session, “Data Privacy and Security – An Insiders View,” Mary Dickerson, Executive Director, IT Security & CISO at the University of Houston, Kathy Fithen, Chief Privacy Officer at The Coca-Cola Company, and Lynn Goodendorf, Director, Global Information Security of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, shared their views on the current environment and what they are doing to ensure the protection of their organizations.

14 Tuesday - Fern Johnson - PepsiCOIn the interview session, “Re-Imagining the Future,” Fern Johnson, Senior Director, CIO Global Procurement and Legal at PepsiCo. Inc., discussed the areas of focus for driving innovation to deliver a different future. She shared the results they expect to see from these areas of focus and what it means to their business, customers and employees.  She wrapped up the discussion sharing her key areas of strength in their messaging as she engages with the business units in discussions on their vision.

Guidelines and Cancellation Policies:

1. All reservations must be guaranteed with a one night deposit. The hotel will charge one night deposit to your credit card when the reservation is made. The Hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured by one that deposit.
2. Reservations may be cancelled up to two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of guest check in date with no penalty.
3. Hotel will retain a one night non-refundable deposit (room and tax) if the reservation is cancelled between 8-13 days in advance of the guest check-in date. (Substitutions from your company permitted)
