2012 Summit Recap
Hosted by Executive Alliance, the Women’s Legacy Summit was held Sunday, September 9, and Monday, September 10, 2012, at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, outside of Atlanta. The two-day Summit delivered on its promise to bring together some of the most successful senior level women in business from the southeast area.
Topics covered during the Summit included a focus on leadership for the future, creating innovative environments, the impact of social media and mobility, the look of the customer and the employee of the future, and how these executives plan to inspire the next generation of talent.
Feedback From Our Attendees
“This was the finest professional networking event I have experienced to date. Highest level attendees, extremely interesting women, in an atmosphere conducive to forming relationships without the need for biz cards or memorized networking patter.”
Sue Reager, CEO, International Services
“Thank you for having me at the recent Women’s Legacy Summit. I had a great time meeting and discussing with other women leaders the challenges and opportunities presented by times of change, and the excitement of working at the leading edge of technology. These two days were the perfect blend of large groups of leaders to connect with and meet, and intimate gatherings for deeper conversations and relationship building.”
Robin Bienfait, CIO, Research in Motion
“Attending the Women’s Legacy Summit was well worth the investment in time. Often, conferences over promise and under deliver. Not in this case! Everything from the networking events where I met some of the top female executives from around the Southeast to the power packed business agenda to the fabulous location, this is a conference event that I would attend again and again. I highly recommend!”

The Tiffany Circle is an American Red Cross society of women leaders and philanthropists who invest annually in their local American Red Cross chapters. These women follow in the footsteps of a long lineage of women leaders, beginning with founder Clara Barton, who have helped the Red Cross serve the American public in times of war and peace with disaster assistance, blood collection, safety training, and countless other community services. The society is named in honor of the beautiful Tiffany windows in the Board of Governors Hall at the historic American Red Cross national headquarters in Washington, DC. These windows, produced by Tiffany Studios, were commissioned by Red Cross President Mabel Boardman in 1917. As an act of reconciliation and hope, they were paid for with a $5,000 gift from the Women’s Relief corps of the North and $5,000 from the United Daughters of the Confederacy of the South.
